Shooting of Ariel Roman
Ariel Roman, an unarmed white male who resisted arrest from two black Chicago police officers was shot twice, once in the back while fleeing up an escalator. No criminal charges have been filed against the officers as of September 3, 2020.

Officer Melvina Bogard fired the shots that hit Roman.
Bogard was charged with assault in 2016, before joining the transit police in 2017.[1]
