The assault of Maritza Pagan-Tang by black mental patient occurred on September 19, 2013[1] when white mental hospital counselor Maritza Pagan-Tang was brutally assaulted by a black mental patient while doing paperwork in the mental ward of North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center.[2] Pagan-Tang now requires a cane to walk.
