The Murder of Ahren Joshua DeHart occurred on April 12, 2021 when 1-year-old baby white male Ahren Joshua DeHart was seriously injured by 24-year-old black male Marvin Rex Lake. Lake was babysitting DeHart, and claimed he became enraged when the baby tore a pillow, leading him to violently attack the baby.[1] Baby DeHart suffered a fractured skull, brain damage and hemorrhaging of the lung, and died of his injuries three and a half days later on April 16, 2021.[2]
