The murders of Brenda and Terry Aultman (Daytona Beach throat slashings) occurred in the early morning hours of March 6, 2022, when white couple Brenda and Terry Aultman were bicycling home,[1] and were allegedly murdered with their throats cut - by black male Jean R. Macean.[2]
Macean was caught in part due to a waitress recognizing his picture from a meal the night before, and showed police the receipt for his meal - $15.42 with a $0.58 tip (incorrectly totaled by the murderer).[3]
